In the spring of 2018, Greg Lukmire of RRMM Lukmire Architects completed an architectural assessment of the Williamsburg Library. The purpose of this assessment was to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the current building, the core of which is over 50 years old, and to inform a possible renovation or rebuilding project that is currently under consideration by the Library Board of Directors. Below you can find links to the completed assessment and an accompanying PowerPoint presentation that was shown to the library board and members of the public in March 2018. If you have any questions about the assessment or the project, please feel free to call us at 757.741.3300, option 2 or stop by any Reference Desk in either of our library buildings.
