Join the Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library

Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library is an organization dedicated to making the library a better place for users. It is run by a volunteer Friends Board responsible for promoting interest in our libraries, sponsoring cultural programs for the community, and providing funds for special services and grants.


How the Friends Support the Library - Grants to the Library - 2010

Every year the Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library returns thousands of dollars to the library to support programming and to purchase materials. The Friends Board asks the Director of the Library for recommendations and then reviews applications submitted by the various departments of the library at the end of each year. Below is a brief description of the 2010 grants to the Library.
