FACILITIES SPECIALIST I – LIBRARY – Position #271. Part-Time Regular, non-exempt position; $13.32/hour; 16 hours/week; partial benefits. Schedule Monday 5pm - 9pm, Friday 8am – 12pm, and Saturday 8am – 5pm. Job is located at various Williamsburg Regional Library localities. DUTIES: Performs a variety of custodial, maintenance, and repair services including cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping/buffing floors, painting, and minor electrical and plumbing work. Operates custodial equipment, power and hand tools. Drives delivery van, including loading and unloading library materials. REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent; one year experience in general building maintenance, including the operation of electric hand tools; or equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience to provide necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle all essential functions of the position. ALSO REQUIRED: Must be able to perform duties indoors and outdoors that require frequent heavy lifting, climbing, working at varied heights, operation of a variety of building maintenance equipment. Must have valid Virginia driver’s license with acceptable driving record based upon James City County criteria. Requires post-offer physical with drug screen and criminal history records check.
