Battle of the Books
Do you like to flex your intellectual muscle? Try our Battle of the Books program for 4th-5th and 6th-8th graders. Students from area schools read 15 books, and then test their knowledge of the boo1ks in local and regional competition. It's lots of fun!
Congratulations to our 2012 winners! In the 4th and 5th grades, Matthew Whaley Elementary School won our local final and Grafton Bethel Elementary School won the regional final. In 6th -8th grades, Hornsby Middle School won the local final and Bookter T. Washington Middle School won the regional.
