Computer Classes for Adults
Computer Class Information
Q: How do I find out what classes WRL offers?
A: Class schedules are published on a monthly basis. Click the tab above for a printable schedule of the current month’s classes, or pick up a class brochure on your next visit to the Library.
Q: Is there a charge?
A: No.
Q: Do you have classes for seniors?
A: We organize our classes by topic and skill level, not by age group. Any adult who meets the prerequisites is welcome in any class.
Q: Should I bring my laptop to class?
A: No need—the Library will provide a computer, except for iPad classes. iPad students must bring their own iPads.
Q: Do I need to sign up in advance?
A: Yes. Some classes fill up quickly, so register as early as you can.
Q: Are there other options if I don’t see a class that fits my needs or my schedule?
A: WRL offers weekly walk-in help courtesy of our computer volunteers. Or you can schedule a Book-a-Librarian session, a one-on-one appointment with a professional librarian. Click the appropriate tab above for more information.
Q: Can you teach me how to use my phone?
A: Sorry, no. Check with your phone provider for instructions and help.
