The Funding Research Center includes print and online resources. All print materials are available in the reference and circulating collections at the Williamsburg Library (515 Scotland St, Williamsburg VA, 23185). The Center is intended to assist area nonprofit organizations in their search for funding opportunities as well as to provide "how to" information about developing and administering a fund raising program. Print Resources

Today the Internet offers a wide variety of resources for nonprofit personnel seeking information on fund raising, donor research, foundations, corporations, nonprofit issues and the like. The Funding Research Center includes selected links to many of the best on line fund raising resources. In addition to the printed grant research books available at the Williamsburg Library, the FRC offers access to the GrantSelect and the Foundation Directory (in-library use only).  These searchable databases of funding sources lists over thousands of grants and funding opportunities, including funding from state and federal governments, corporations, foundations, and associations.

Print resources are available in the reference department at the Williamsburg Library (515 Scotland Street). These books include the Foundation Center's highly acclaimed Foundation Directory, National Directory of Corporate Giving, as well as directories focusing on environmental concerns, children and families and health. Also in the collection are books about writing proposals and fund raising. Connect to the online catalog and locate these books by performing a series search with the term Funding Research Center.
