PERPETUAL BOOK FUNDS
a giving opportunity made available by the Williamsburg Regional Library FoundationA great library is built book by book. The Perpetual Book Fund program offers a means for the community to build our library. With the help of generous donors, this innovative approach can expand the Williamsburg Regional Library’s collection in perpetuity.
Contributions totaling $1000 or more can establish a named endowment to purchase an item for the library’s collection as interest becomes available. New materials are recognized with a book plate in a name designated by the donor. A Perpetual Book Fund can be endowed to honor a special event, a person, a pet, or an organization. The donor determines the subject area (Interested in the subjects other donors have picked? See the topics list or click on the Fund name), type of library material, and the library location of the gift. At the time of establishment, any amount above the $1000 minimum can be used for the immediate purchase of materials in the name of the fund. An already established Perpetual Book Fund or the general collection Perpetual book Fund can be added to at any time.
Creating a Perpetual Book Fund endowment provides one with the opportunity to help the library by adding to the knowledge of our community. If you are interested, print out a Perpetual Book Fund donor form and make your online contribution or pledge to establish a PBF.Perpetual Book Funds
