Albert (Abe) Lauer joined the Foundation board in July 2003. He was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and received his BA from Ohio State University. He earned an MS in Physics from the U S Naval Graduate School, Monterey, CA. He served as a US Navy Fighter pilot from 1942-1963. Mr. Lauer worked for Hughes Aircraft in Marketing and engineering from 1963 to 1989. He is married with two children. Mr. Lauer is a member of Williamsburg Kiwanis Club, a former member of the Board of Directors of This Century Gallery and a York County Master Gardener.
