Virginia Lee joined the Foundation board in July 2003. She is the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation Community, College and Government Relations Manager. Mrs. Lee is also involved in library's Beacon of Freedom Award program and Colonial Williamsburg book donations to the library.  Virginia's experiences are varied.  She hosted a radio show in Japan, published a book on Home Entertainment for Military Spouses, is a living history interpreter and co-founder, of the group "Federalist Gentry."  On the library Virginia notes, "The Williamsburg Regional Library ranks among the outstanding American libraries because of the extraordinary contributions made to our community. . . I am honored to serve on the WRLF."
