POSITION TITLE: Program Services Materials Reviewing Volunteer

DIVISION: Program Services

SUPERVISOR: Program Services Director

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT: Variable.

TIME INVOLVEMENT: Varying schedule of mornings, afternoons, evenings; weekdays and weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY: Volunteers review library video and audio tapes on which patrons have reported viewing and listening problems. Volunteers will receive training on how to conduct minor repair and splicing of tapes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Volunteers review library video and audio tapes on which patrons have reported viewing and listening problems. Volunteers will receive training on how to conduct minor repair and splicing of tapes.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school and some general public contact experience preferred. Majority of work is performed behind a public service desk with moderate walking required. Lifting and/or moving is limited to no more than 5 pounds. Willingness to undergo training.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 16 (unless approved by Program Services Director).
