Williamsburg Regional Library defines homebound to mean that leaving home is a major effort for a period of 6 months or more. If leaving home, it must be to get medical treatment or for short, infrequent absences for non-medical reasons.

Homebound residents qualifying for full Library privileges may be eligible for monthly delivery and pickup of library materials (books, videos, DVDs, audiobooks, CDs) directly to their home.
