Go to topHow do I request that the Library purchase a particular book, video, or other item?
We're happy to receive requests for additions to our collection.
For materials that would be shelved in the adult collection -- books, videos, books-on-tape, music, or even suggestions for new magazine titles -- please come to the Reference Desk. A librarian will fill out a patron request form and pass it on to the librarian in charge of that area. The librarians will look for reviews and other necessary information. Many requests are purchased, and you will be notified when the item arrives. If the librarian chooses not to purchase the item, we can try to borrow it from another library for your use.
Children's materials should be requested at the Youth Services desk.
