Looking for information on the Internet, and sorting the good from the bad, can be overwhelming. Librarians have been working to begin organizing some of the vast amount of information available on the Internet, and the WRL Reference staff and others have created a number of Web pages that are good places to start looking for online resources. 

Audiobooks -- Sites that offer free, downloadable audiobooks.  Homework Hints -- Links to resources for students.
Biography -- Links to biographical sites on a variety of people. Legal Resources -- Links to lawyers, estate planning, legal decisions and codes.
BookWeb -- Book reviews, author information, booklists, and more. Local Libraries -- Links to public, academic and special libraries in the Williamsburg area.
Business Resources -- Company information, financial and small business resources. Medical Resources -- Links to medical information.
Cancer Resource Center -- Information on local and global resources for cancer patients and their families. Music on the Web -- Links to lyrics, performers, publishers, and more.
Cars -- Sites relating to repair, new and used car purchasing, insurance, safety, and statistics. NewsWeb -- Finding newspapers and other news sources on the Internet.
Commonly Asked Questions -- Local information and fun facts. Online Databases -- In-library and home access to magazine articles, biographical, literature and business information, and more.
Community Resources -- Links to local organizations and information. Reference -- Almanacs, encyclopedias, calculators, dictionaries, quotations and more.
Consumer Resources -- Product ratings, credit information, and other consumer information. Search Engines -- Some of the Reference staffs' favorite search engines.
Email on the Web -- Links to web-based free email accounts. Senior Connection -- A page of links to Internet resources for seniors.
Employment  -- Links to job-search and career information. Tax Information -- Links to online tax forms, tax tips, and other resources.
Find It on the Internet -- An introduction to looking for information online. Telephone directories -- A collection of online phone books.
Food, nutrition and recipes -- Links to recipes, nutrition info, restaurant guides and more. Travel -- Annotated links to travel resources on the Web.
Genealogy -- Places to start when doing online genealogy. Virginia resources -- Links to a variety of information about Virginia.
Government and Politics -- Links to federal, state, and local government sites. Visually Impaired Resources -- Links to information and services for visually impaired persons.
