Creative Designs in Unique Containers

The Williamsburg Garden Club invites you to: “Creative Designs in Unique Containers,” an entertaining talk and demonstration by popular Richmond floral designer, David PippinStyle magazine has described David Pippin as having an elegant and impossibly unreasonable  fashion sense…He has fun with flowers.  And he’s not embarrassed to admit it, or share his skill with others.  His floral designs are ‘take-your-breath-away gorgeous’ 

Mr. Pippin is the first Meriwether H. Major Lecture speaker, in a newly endowed Williamsburg Garden Club series that is open to the public and free of charge.

With his extensive work in landscape design, education and floral design, Mr. Pippin is  a consummate and good-humored teacher. Whether designing for a wedding, intimate party or grand event, his exuberant arrangements have brought accolades.  His advice and expertise stimulate both novice and experienced flower arrangers to try new ideas.  Using both purchased and found materials, he will show how to create arrangements that are personal and unique.

Audience members will have a chance to win an arrangement from David Pippin’s demonstration.

Refreshments will follow in the Library Gallery.
