In this romanticized biopic, Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon play Marie and Pierre Curie who in 1903 won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their discovery of the element Radium. Mervyn LeRoy directed this film which was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, Actor and Actress.
