Memories on Display

This wonderful display of artwork was created by the participants of respite care at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church through the Memories in the Making Art Program (MITM).

The MITM Program was created for individuals who are experiencing memory loss and may no longer be able to express themselves fully through words.  This activity gives them an opportunity to express themsleves through artistic and creative expression.

Memories in the Making uses art, music, sensory stimulation, sotrytelling and socialization to unlock creativity, create new memories, and, hopefully enrich the artists' live's and the lives of thier family and caregivers.
