ART DONATIONS
Artwork and illustrations deemed appropriate may be accepted by the Williamsburg Regional Library. WRL shall have absolute ownership of all donated artwork and illustrations, including, but not limited to, full powers of management, display, conservation or disposition of said artwork and illustrations.
Library Artwork For Which WRL Owns Reproduction Rights
Reproduction rights of this artwork must be secured from the Library Director and the artist if required. Reproduction rights to the library’s artwork will be given, provided: 1) Use of the reproduction is not for a profit making venture (such as note cards, for example). The WRL Board of Trustees, the Friends of WRL Board, and the WRL Foundation Board have exclusive, non-transferable rights to the library’s artwork collection for fundraising projects; 2) Full credit is given, including the full name of the artist, the work of art and the Williamsburg Regional Library, Williamsburg, Virginia; 3) All reproductions shall be made by the requesting individual or company at their own expense, at the convenience of the library, without removing the artwork from its location in the library, and with only photographic materials and equipment approved by the library. Reproduction from printed or non-photographic materials is prohibited.
