WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL LIBRARYThis website is owned and operated by the Williamsburg Regional Library (WRL). We understand that web users are concerned about their privacy. WRL has a strict privacy policy of not sharing ANY of the information it collects about the visitors of its web site with anybody outside of WRL except in the form of raw statistical data which does not reveal the identity of any specific visitor.
WRL does not give out personal information shared with our organization through our online feedback forms to anyone outside of the Williamsburg Regional Library staff (and to board members, as appropriate). WRL has a strict privacy policy of not sharing any personal information from Library visitors such as name, address, and phone number.
The WRL web server collects data such as a visitor's IP address of origin, type of browser and operating system, country of origin, and other information which is NOT personally linked with any specific user. This information is used to help us design a more user-friendly web site for visitors and to show our funding agencies the importance of our web site as a library resource - again, all without identifying any specific user.

This site maintains a mailing list which keeps patrons who have voluntarily requested to receive this email apprised of our institution's many programs.
