Friends
of the Library 1999 Spring Book Sale .... The Friends of the Williamsburg Regional Library will hold its Spring Book Sale Friday, March 26 through Sunday, March 28, 1999. Hours are Friday, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m (Friends Only); Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Williamsburg Library, 515 Scotland Street. Friday’s sale is for Friends members only as they get first choice of the thousands of books, videos, CDs and tapes that are collected from donations and the library’s discards. Friends are reminded to bring their membership cards. Not a Friend of the Library? You can join at the door and participate in the Friday preview sale. Memberships are $15 and along with proceeds from the book sales, provide the organization’s financial support for many library activities, including children’s programs, summer reading programs and library equipment and books. The Saturday and Sunday sales are open to everyone and an exceptional wide array of books and other articles will be available.
