Libraries, Bookmobile Closed to the Public

The Williamsburg Regional Library, which includes the
Williamsburg and James City County Libraries and the Bookmobile, will be
closed to the public all day on Thursday, October 24, 2002. The normal
service schedule will resume on Friday, October 25 at 10 a.m. The Williamsburg Library is located at 515 Scotland Street in
Williamsburg and the James City County Library is at 7770 Croaker
Road in Norge.
The closure will allow library staff to participate in workshops and
training that are part of the library's strategic planning process. The
strategic planning process is an initiative begun by the Williamsburg Regional
Library's Board of Trustees that will examine ways to improve all
aspects of library service and programs for the community.
Normal library hours are Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.;
Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1
- 5 p.m.
