For Fines

| The Williamsburg and
James City County Libraries will be accepting canned
and dry goods as payment for overdue fines from November
14th
through 22nd,
1998. One canned or dry good (cake mix, can
of green beans, etc.) Will cover the fine for one
overdue item. (A list of suggested donations is
below.) An overdue item can be a video, cassette, CD,
or book. Fees for lost or damaged items will not be
covered by a food donation. Collected food will be donated to local charities for distribution to families in need. The Food for Fines program is valid November 14th through 22nd only.
