If you are a regular Ukrop's shopper, you may have noticed that your receipts have been a golden color lately rather than the usual white. That is because their annual GOLDEN GIFT PROGRAM has begun. When you scan your Ukrop's Valued Customer Card between now and March 31, 2001, the value of your purchases is electronically recorded as points. In May, Ukrop's sends out GOLDEN GIFT CERTIFICATES which reflect those points. These certificates can be forwarded to participating organizations (like the LIBRARY!) who redeem them for a donation from Ukrop's.
