The Williamsburg Regional Library is happy to announce that Friday, July 2, 1999 will be its first all-day Friday opening. The hours of operation will be extended from the previous hours of 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. We'd like you to help us celebrate by joining us at either of our library locations this Friday, July 2! Most of the events will take place between 9:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Come celebrate "Wide Open Fridays" and see what your local library has to offer you!
EVENTS:
Cookies and punch will be served at both libraries
Toano Saxophone Sextet performing under the Williamsburg Library's pyramid entrance at 9:45 a.m.
Horse storytime for kids at the James City County Library at 10:00 a.m. with a visit from a real horse afterwards who will be available for petting in JCCL's grassy backyard area
Other fun surprises!
Don't forget that there are lots of WIDE OPEN parking spaces again at our Williamsburg (515 Scotland Street) location. The parking garage is open with two-hour spaces and the streets surrounding the library (Armistead, Boundary and Scotland Streets) have one-hour spaces available.
