Donating Library Materials
Donating Used Books, CDs, etc. to the libraries
The library may be able to add your used books and other items to our collection. Items we don't use may be sold by the Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library at their annual book sales. If you have a small number of books or current magazines in good condition, please leave these at the Check-In Desk at either library. If you have several boxes of books to donate, please call 259-4045, Monday through Friday from 10-5 to make delivery arrangements. (All gifts are tax-deductible). Please review our donations policy regarding gifts.
To honor or remember someone with a gift to the library, please contact Library Development Officer Benjamin Goldberg or inquire at a public service desk. Book plates may be used to identify honorees and loved ones. Pledges can be accepted on-line or read more about making an online donation or click either of the options below to make a gift..

Local Authors Project
The Local Authors Project is an opportunity for residents to showcase their work and to make a meaningful contribution to the library. Authors participate by donating a copy (or copies) of their work and participating in an optional photo opportunity. Donations are recognized in the online catalog, with bookplates in the volumes and on the library’s web site. Please review the Local Authors Project Guidelines for more details.
