HAMILTON’S ECONOMIC VISION
Many today view Hamilton as a prophet of the modern American economy. However, in his own time Hamilton was seen by many as threatening the republican vision of the early United States.
This talk, by William and Mary economics professor Clyde Haulman, will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Hamilton's views on public credit, banking, manufacturing and other economic issues.
