A Jazz Evening with Trey Pollard and Jimmy Masters
Guitarist Trey Pollard and bassist Jimmy Masters play traditional jazz standards with a freshness and open dialogue that is reminiscent of guitar-bass duos like Jim Hall & Ron Carter or Pat Metheny and Charlie Haden. They draw from the Great American Songbook while injecting their own voices into each song they play. The result is a relaxed and intimate look at the creative process unfolding within the context of great songs that we know and love.
