Homebound Services
Williamsburg Regional Library defines homebound to mean that leaving home is a major effort for a period of 6 months or more. If leaving home, it must be to get medical treatment or for short, infrequent absences for non-medical reasons.

The Library offers outreach services to qualifying preschools and childcare centers located in the City of Williamsburg and James City County and guided by the Williamsburg Regional Library Preschool Outreach Plan.
The Library provides outreach services to public and private schools that are consistent with the library’s current strategic plan, and are guided by outreach priorities including the Williamsburg Regional Library-Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools Partnership Agreement. The library offers the following services:
The Library offers monthly outreach services to adults living in continuing care centers or spending their day at respite centers that are located in the City of Williamsburg or in James City County.
