The Library provides outreach services to public and private schools that are consistent with the library’s current strategic plan, and are guided by outreach priorities including the Williamsburg Regional Library-Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools Partnership Agreement. Homebound Services
Williamsburg Regional Library defines homebound to mean that leaving home is a major effort for a period of 6 months or more. If leaving home, it must be to get medical treatment or for short, infrequent absences for non-medical reasons.

The Library offers a free, personalized service for qualifying homebound residents of Williamsburg and James City County. Homebound users are eligible for monthly delivery and pickup of library books, movies, audiobooks, and CDs. Library staff can also help homebound users discover new authors and titles and find information.

Schedule and Forms for Adult Care Centers ServiceMobile Library Services staff bring carts of books, music, and movies into the lobbies of adult care centers.
