The Egypt Play
A dark, surreal comedy about two British women – mother and daughter – traveling through 1880’s Egypt in search of adventure and escape from their restrictive lives and from each other. When they hire a local guide and start heading south on the Nile toward a war between British occupiers and Muslim rebels, things get real. This show was another that started as a Play in Progress reading and will be now be offered as a full production.
