This program has been cancelled. Please join us for the next Information Literacy workshop on November 30.
You know how to read a book, but do you know how to find where it lives in the library? In the first session of this two–part series, kids in 2nd to 5th grade and their caregivers will learn how to “read” a book for more than its story, take a tour through the children’s section, and become expert library users. Caregivers are encouraged to attend for all ages, and are required for children 8 and younger.
Registration is required; call 757.741.3300, option 4 to register beginning September 1. This Information Literacy workshop is designed for children in 2nd–5th grade.
