October 30 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, repeating until November 6, 2021
Join us for an intermediate ukulele course presented by Wesley Stevenson – local music educator and Project Coordinator of the FourFingerFrenzy. This 6-week course is specifically tailored to intermediate players, ages 11-18, with a basic, working knowledge of the commonly used chord shapes. Students will receive hands-on training to help them expand their chord vocabulary, implement and memorize new fingerpicking patterns, and sharpen their rhythm with accented strumming – all while learning some of today’s most popular songs. In addition to the in-person class, a live, online broadcast will also be available via Zoom. Registration is required; call 757.741.3300, option 4 to reserve your spot.
