This month, we’re discussing Bill Bryson’s One Summer: America, 1927. The inimitable writer of humorous travelogues takes a deep dive into a few eventful months during the Roaring ’20s, when Charles Lindbergh, Sacco and Vanzetti, Herbert Hoover, and Babe Ruth shared the headlines.

Real People/Real Stories meets the third Thursday of each month and explores the best in nonfiction history, biography, science, nature, and the arts.

Please note that the City of Williamsburg requires masks for all visitors in the Stryker Center regardless of vaccination status.
