Join the Master Gardeners and Incredible Edibles in learning how to start a garden of your very own from scratch! Many gardeners have the idea that as Labor Day approaches the growing season is drawing to a close, but in the Williamsburg area and even farther north, that doesn’t have to be the case. As the tomatoes and peppers are finishing up, the time is right to plant a Fall vegetable garden, and in addition to highlighting which plants will thrive as the weather turns cooler, techniques such as cloches, high tunnels, and cold frames will be discussed as possible season extenders. This talk will be led by Bill Dichtel, a James City County/Williamsburg Master Gardener and a participant in the Historic Triangle Learning Garden. Seeds will be distributed while supplies last.
