We’re now offering take and make crafts! Come to the library’s curbside service area at either building to pick up your kit, then follow along when we post a video on how to do it. All crafts are for ages 13+ and only available while supplies last.
Available June 1: Galaxy Pendants
These far-out pendants look way more complicated to make than they actually are — a Facebook Live video on June 3 will be showing you how it’s done.
Available June 15: Yarn Letter Wrap
Our craft for this week is a fun yarn letter wrap! Be sure to look out on June 17 for our Facebook Live video showing you different ways to customize this craft.
Available June 29: Wisteria Craft
We may have missed our Wisteria Festival, but we still wanted to bring a fun wisteria-themed craft to you! We’ll be airing a Facebook Live video on July 3 showing you what to do.
Please note that the library is closed on July 3 in observance of Independence Day, but this program will take place as scheduled. Other library services, such as Ask a Librarian and WRL To-Go, will not take place on this day.
Available July 13: Memory Wire Bracelets
Create a beaded bracelet using memory wire! These are easy to bead, and hold a nice bangle shape. We provide the beads, the bracelet wire, and a fun charm, so all you need is a pair of pliers to try this jewelry-making technique. Tune into our Facebook Live video on July 17 showing you how it’s done!
Available July 27: Macrame Plant Holders
Create your own macramé plant holder with all supplies provided. We’ll be airing a Facebook Live video on July 31 showing you how it’s done!
Available August 10: Embroidered Tea Towels
Try your hand at some easy, entry level embroidery with this tea towel craft. Embroider your initial or whatever strikes your fancy! Tea Towel and embroidery hoop included. We’ll be airing a Facebook Live video on August 14 showing you how it’s done!
Available August 24: Bird Feeder
For the week of August 24 we have a fun bird feeder for you to make. You provide the hammer, but we’re putting in some bird seed for you to attract some new bird neighbors! We’ll be airing a Facebook Live video on August 28 showing you how it’s done!
