The Throwback Thursday Film Series screens a variety of classic and contemporary movies for an adult audience. All films are shown in the Williamsburg Library Theatre.

Brad Pitt plays Heinrich Harrer, an Austrian mountain climber who visits Tibet in the 1940s and befriends the young Dalai Lama. Based on a true story, the film was directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud and costars David Thewlis and BD Wong. PG-13  2 hr, 16 min Watch trailer

July 13, 2:00-3:40 pm: The Bucket List (2007)

July 20, 2:00-4:05 pm: The Way (2010) 

An American doctor (Martin Sheen) travels to France to claim the remains of his son, who died while walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.
