Fees & Lost Materials
WRL does not charge daily overdue fines for WRL materials. Replacement cost will be charged for items that are a month or more overdue. Replacement charges will be cleared when the items are returned. If you are unable to pay for the cost of replacement, please contact us about options.
Please note, items borrowed from other libraries (Interlibrary Loan) accrue overdue fees of $.50 per day.

How will I know when my items are due?
When you check out any physical items, you can choose to get a receipt with the printed due dates of your materials. The library will also send reminders when your library materials are coming due or overdue. Courtesy reminders of upcoming due dates are sent by email or text. Overdue notices are sent by email, text, or phone.
You can check the due date(s) of your items at any time, as well as update your notification preferences, by logging into
My Account.
Once your materials are 39 days overdue, you will receive a bill with replacement charges for the item(s). Please review the Holds/Renewals page for information about loan periods for library items.
What happens if I return something late or lose an item?
WRL does not charge daily overdue fines for WRL materials, so there are no charges for any item you return late, once you return it.
Items not returned more than 39 days after their due date are considered lost. A replacement charge for the cost of lost items plus a $3 processing fee per item will be added to your account. You cannot place holds, renew, or check out any physical library material if you have fees totaling $30 or more on your account.
If the lost materials are returned, the replacement charges will automatically be cleared from your account. You will still owe the processing fees for each item that was lost on your account. WRL will refund any fees paid when a lost item(s) is returned within 60 days of payment, in good condition, and with proof of payment. Processing fees are not refundable.
The library is not able to accept replacement items purchased by users.

· Interlibrary loan items do have overdue fees attached of $.50 a day
· Collections Processing fee – $10 per account if balance is over $50 after 60 days overdue
