The mid-twentieth century was a great era for the popular song. Artists like Etta James, Dionne Warwick, and Stevie Wonder brought us one gem of a song after another, each one woven into the fabric of the lives of all who lived through those dynamic times. Little Doors is mining this rich history, playing many of the "retro soul" favorites like Marvin Gaye and Al Green, Bill Withers and all kinds of bluesy, jazzy favorites you are sure to dig! Simply presented with vocals, guitar, drums and bass, these songs take the listener to a place in their past; a place of nostalgia evoking forgotten joys or heartaches, sometimes with a fresh appreciation that comes from having been away from an old friend for too long.
