How To Connect a Roku

  1. Connect the device using either the HDMI cable to an HDMI port in your TV or computer. If you don’t have an HDMI port, connect the Roku HDMI cable to the device and to the HDMI port on the HDMI to RCA converter cable, and then connect the converter cable (red, yellow, and white-tipped wires) to the audio-visual inputs on your TV.
  2. Connect the Roku power cable (USB-A to micro) to the device and connect the USB-A side of the cable to the power adapter to plug into the wall. Alternatively, you can plug the USB-A side directly into a USB port if available.
  3. Once device loads, use the Roku remote to navigate down to the ‘Settings’ option.
  4. Go into ‘Network Connection.’ You should see a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
  5. Select your home network and then enter your password.
  6. Once you’re connected to your Wi-Fi, you can hit the Home button on the remote and will be able to navigate to any of the streaming services or other channels.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT LOG OUT OF STREAMING SERVICES. All streaming services are already logged in. If a service is not logged in or is logged out by a user, the device and full kit must be returned to the library so that they may be logged in. Login information will not be provided to users.
